BEVERLY HILLS, March 15, (THEWILL) – Spain’s senior men’s national football team boss Luis Enrique released the squad sheet for the World Cup qualifiers against Greece, Georgia and Kosovo coming up later this month and gave some debut caps to a few impressive players who have performed credibly for their club-sides.

One of these debutants is Barcelona teenage midfield star Pedro Gonzalez Lopez, commonly known as Pedri. The teenager earned his first call-up to the senior squad on the back of his scintillating form for Barca this season as he has found a working formula to tee up with his superstar teammate and captain Lionel Messi.

Also called up to the squad for the Qualifiers is 20-year-old winger Bryan Gil Salvatierra, the Sevilla left-footer, who is on loan at Eibar. Between the sticks, Enrique rang to Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez and Sporting CP defender Pedro Porro, who had greatly improved while on loan there from Manchester City this campaign are two other notable inclusions in the ranks.

The 21-year-old Sanchez is one of seven England-based players in the squad alongside Manchester City trio Ferran Torres, Rodri and Eric García, with Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea, Liveprool’s Thiago Alcantara and Diego Llorente of Leeds also in Enrique’s national side.

While shese youthful legs will strengthen the Spanish challenge especially tested and trusted talents like City’s Torres given the extra bite his inclusion in Pep Guardiola’s unit has been seamless and productive with four goals and goal involvements in 17 appearances for the blue side of Manchester. Most likely old hands like Sergio Ramos and Marcos Llorente will combine to give Enrique the strongest XI possible.

Spanish Squad Sheet:

GOALKEEPERS: De Gea, Robert Sánchez, Unai Simón
DEFENDERS: Pedro Porro, Eric García, Sergio Ramos, Diego Llorente, Iñigo Martínez, Jordi Alba, Gayá
MIDFIELDERS: Busquets, Rodri, Thiago, Pedri, Marcos Llorente, Canales, Koke, Fabián
FORWARDS: Gerard Moreno, Ferran Torres, Oyarzabal, Morata, Bryan Gil, Dani Olmo
