August 30, (THEWILL) – Gunmen have reportedly killed Captain Abdukkarim Bala Na’Allah, son of a serving Senator Senator Bala Na’Allah.
Senator Na’Allah represents Kebbi South Senatorial seat in the Senate and was the Deputy Majority Leader in the Eighth Senate
The pilot, the eldest son of the Senator, was killed on Sunday by the assailants in his Malali (GRA) residence, Kaduna North Local Government Area of the State.
Special Adviser to Senator Na Allah, Garba Mohammed, who confirmed the incident, said the hoodlums entered the house through the ceiling.
Mohammed said that a neighbour’s security guard had noticed the gate of the deceased home opened and raised the alarm, which led to the discovery of the remains of the pilot.
“Suspected Kaduna Bandits Kill Captain Abdulkarim Bala Na Allah, the first Son of Senator Bala Na’Allah, in his Malali GRA Residence Kaduna today,” he said.
Meanwhile, two other persons have been confirmed killed by bandits in Makoro Iri village of Kajuru local government area of the State.
Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs Samuel Aruwan made this known in a statement on Sunday.
The Commissioner said: “Security agencies have reported to the Kaduna State Government that two persons have been killed by bandits in Makoro Iri village of Kajuru local government area.”
Aruwan said, according to the report, bandits invaded the remote village and shot dead the duo identified as Gideon Mumini and Barnabas Ezra.
In another development, the Commissioner said troops of Operation Safe Haven rescued three travellers from armed bandits along the Gidan Waya- Godogodo road in Jema’a LGA.
He said: “The travellers were abducted by armed bandits who barricaded the road. Troops responded to a distress call and pursued the bandits, rescuing the trio identified as follows: Jibril Salisu, Happy Sunday and Ruth Dauda.
“The rescued travellers’ vehicle, a Peugeot 307, was also recovered.”
