SAN FRANCISCO, May 18, (THEWILL) – Former Super Eagles player, Osaze Odemwingie, has stated that former managers of the national team were involved in player management and this in turn was detrimental to the team’s success.
Odemwingie who spoke to the Super Eagles Media team in a live chat stated that most former Super Eagles coaches were involved in this unethical behavior.
He said: “Some of our coaches did get involved in a bit of player management, they had management companies.
“Shuaibu Amodu, for instance, had a management company. Some picked a weaker player over a stronger one who played in a better club because they wanted to market their player.
