Solidstar Apologises To Fans After Physically Assaulting Taxi Driver

January 28, (THEWILL) – Joshua Iniyezo, better known by the stage name Solidstar, has tendered his apologies to fans who were disappointed by his unruly behaviour last week Friday.

The singer penned a lengthy apology on his Instagram account some days after he fought with a taxi driver in Festac while he was on his way to the airport.

The songwriter cum singer stated “Last week Friday, I got into a hot argument with a cabbie that was supposed to take me to the airport, things got tense and I lost myself, knowing that I had a flight to miss which led to a physical engagement. I’m not a violent person and I regret my actions. Every emotional and physical damage should there be, have been taken care of by my team and I and I take full responsibility for my actions. I promise such would not happen again. I do this music for y’all and I love y’all forever and a day more.”

Recall that a violent video of the face-off between the music act and a cab man went viral last week.

The singer, who was trying to catch a flight, took a taxi to the airport. It was alleged that the driver was rude to him while driving and he demanded an apology but the diver turned him down.

Their argument developed into a physical engagement and the singer smashed the rear windshield of the taxi despite attempts from fans who tried to restrain him from the violent act.

His behaviour was later criticised by fans who watched the footage of the viral video. They condemned the music act for his action and advised him to tender an apology to the cab man.
