July 22, (THEWILL) – Fast-rising skit maker, Umar Bush has announced his appointment as the special assistant on entertainment to Mohammed Abba Isa, the senior special assistant to President Bola Tinubu on special needs and equal opportunities. Bush, also known as ‘Angry Man’, announced his appointment by sharing a letter with reference number SSAP/SNEO/24/VOL.1/464 on his social media pages. The letter, titled ‘Appointment as Special Assistant on Entertainment’, conveyed the approval of the senior special assistant to the president on special needs and equal opportunities. According to the letter, as a special assistant on entertainment, Bush is responsible for managing media promotion, ensuring good public relations, and facilitating entertainment initiatives for the office.
“His appointment is set for a two-year term, effective July 10, 2024, with the possibility of renewal based on performance,” it added.
Bush expressed his gratitude for the new role. Isa also took to his Instastory to share a video wherein he lauded Bush, known for his humorous and often controversial content, on the appointment — which has begun to generate intense reactions online.
