Sinner’s third title of the 2024 season propels him to a career-high World number two ranking, leapfrogging Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz. The Italian’s sizzling form on the hard courts has been nothing short of remarkable, with 25 wins in his last 26 matches, his sole defeat coming against Alcaraz in the Indian Wells semi-finals.

This marks his second Masters 1000 title, following his Toronto triumph in 2023. Dimitrov, meanwhile, will re-enter the Top 10 on Monday, having last resided there in October 2018.
