SAN FRANCISCO, September 12, (THEWILL) – Abducted Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Mr. Mike Ozekhome, has been freed by his abductors, sources close to the family of the lawyer told THEWILL early Thursday morning.
His release is coming two days after the same set of kidnappers set free Athanasius Ugbome, an APC chieftain in Edo state, and Mark Omoregbe, who were both abducted alongside the respected lawyer a few days ago at Ehor, a town located along the Benin-Auchi freeway.
THEWILL gathered that the Ozekhome family paid N20 million for his freedom as against the N50 million naira demanded by the abductors.
