BEVERLY HILLS, March 10, (THEWILL) – The Secretary-General of the Medical and Health Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Comrade Silas Gadani Adamu, his wife and their daughter have died in a fatal accident along the Kaduna-Abuja road
Details are still sketchy but Senator Shehu Sani, who formerly represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, broke the news on his twitter handle.
The deceased, who hailed from Southern Kaduna, was said to be the President of his ethnic group’s umbrella group, Atyap Community Development Association.
Comrade Silas Gadani Adamu was reported to have been driving with his wife Mrs. Silas Adamu and daughter Joyce Kubai Adamu, when their vehicle rammed into a truck parked along the Kaduna-Abuja road on Monday, March 8.
Senator Shehu Sani, while reacting to the sad news via his Twitter handle, wrote: ”Comrade Silas Adamu, his wife and daughter died in a road accident along Kaduna Abuja road yesterday. He ran into a truck. He was the Secretary General of the NMA and the President of the Southern Kaduna based Atyap Community Development Association. A great loss. RIP.”
MHWUN is the home union of the current President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Ayuba Wabba, where he was President before being elected into his current position.
