April 15, (THEWILL)- American golfer, Scottie Scheffler, clinched his second Masters title on Sunday, holding his nerve as his closest competitors faltered during the infamous Amen Corner stretch at Augusta National Golf Club.

Scheffler, who first won the coveted Green Jacket in 2022, began the final round with a one-shot lead over two-time major champion Collin Morikawa. The world number one then carded a four-under-par 68 to finish the tournament on 11-under, four strokes clear of Sweden’s Ludvig Aberg in second place.

Aberg, making his Major debut, closed with a 69 to take solo second, while Morikawa tumbled down the leaderboard with double-bogeys at the ninth and 11th holes before recovering with birdies at 13 and 15 to share third place alongside Americans Max Homa and Britain’s Tommy Fleetwood, all finishing on four-under.
