BEVERLY HILLS, October 10, (THEWILL) – Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, says that the defeat of Nigeria against Algeria in the Austrian friendly is not all doom and gloom as there are some positives to take away from the encounter.
The Super Eagles were defeated by the Desert Foxes by 1-0 on Friday evening as Algerian defender, Ramy Bensebaini, scored the only goal of the match in the sixth minute of play at the Wörthersee Stadium, Klagenfurt, Austria.
Speaking during the post-match press conference, Rohr insists that the Super Eagles will turn its attention to the next game but the lessons of the clash with Algeria have been processed.

“This is a very good test for us. There are positives to pick from a tough game like this,” Rohr noted.
“Now we have to recover well and start to plan for the next game on Tuesday against another tough team.”
