December 13, (THEWILL) – Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter, Temilade Openiyi, aka Tems, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, aka Rihanna and two others, have been chosen for a Golden Globe nomination for their song ‘Lift Me Up’
The Golden Globe Awards are accolades bestowed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, recognizing excellence in both American and international film and television.
The single, ‘Lift Me Up’ is a soundtrack of Marvel’s blockbuster movie, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. It was co-written by Tems alongside Rihanna, Oscar winner, Ludwig Gorranson and Ryan Coogler.
The song was written as a tribute to the life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman and was released on October 28, 2022.
