April 06, (THEWILL) – The member representing Mbaitoli/Ikeduru (Mba-Ike) Federal Constituency of Imo State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi, has given kudos to Imo State Governor and Coordinator of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-East Zone, Senator Hope Uzodimma, for the successful hosting of the South-East APC executive and stakeholders meeting in Owerri.
Speaking with Journalists shortly after the stakeholders meeting, Hon. Amadi said Governor Uzodimma was able to entertain and host what he described as the largest gathering of people in the South-East in recent times for deliberations on the overall well-being of the zone, barely a few months after his inauguration for a second term in office.
He pointed out that the deliberations at the crucial South-East APC forum focused on the way forward for the geo-political zone and steps for the zone’s full integration into Nigeria’s mainstream politics and rapid economic development.
Amadi, who congratulated Uzodimma for emerging as the Coordinator of APC in the South-East zone, described the Imo State Governor as a man with the vision and political will to lead Imo State and South-East to enviable heights.
Calling on the entire people of South-East to give unflinching support to the Imo State Governor in his drive for the full political liberation of the zone, the Mba-Ike House of Representatives member stated: “His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma is a visionary and selfless leader with uncommon capacity to attract great fortunes to Imo State and entire South-East of Nigeria. He is an exemplary leader whose spirit of patriotism in service is worthy of emulation. This is why I am proud of him.”
Hon. Amadi also commended the Imo State Chairman of the ruling APC, Chief Dr. MacDonald Ebere, for working relentlessly as a co-host of the South-East APC stakeholders meeting to ensure that the forum was a worthwhile venture.
