January 22, (THEWILL) – Self-acclaimed gospeller and author, Reno Omokri has finally admitted to abandoning Tuokpe, his legal wife of about 17 years and mother of his first three children in America, for another woman, Hanna, an Ethiopian, based in the United Kingdom. Reno, a former aide of former President Goodluck Jonathan, emphatically made this admittance in a post he put up on his social media page thanking a few people for celebrating and applauding him as he turned 50 years old today. Besides thanking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he emphatically thanked his second wife, Hana, as well as some family and friends.

“I am fifty today, and so grateful to God for giving me the grace to live this long. I honour my late parents, Justices Omokri and Otolu (meaning Princess), Bemigho. Many thanks to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for applauding me with his congratulations on this day. I am most thankful to my wife, Hana, family and friends, who joined me in Kenya to celebrate this day with a three-day wildlife safari, especially Uncle Utienyin Igbene, Otolu (Princess), Misan Igbene,” part of his post read.
Conspicuously missing in the thank you post was any mention of his first wife, Tuokpe, a teacher, based in America and his three children, a girl and two boys, all of whom he doesn’t ever acknowledge. He instead prefers to ignore them and not celebrate them when they attain certain milestones in life but is more committed to projecting his second wife, Hana and their child together, Weyinmi Ebele, who will be three years old this year. For over three years since he abandoned his first family, he has refused to contribute to their upkeep including that of one of his sons who is a special needs kid. A control freak, Reno allegedly subjected Tuokpe to emotional abuse for the better part of the 14 years they lived together. The former presidential aide, who is never short of opinion on virtually every subject on earth and everyone, has refused to address his marital status with Tuokpe or why he abandoned her and their children to start a new family in the UK.
