December 04, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Rema and DJ Neptune appeared to have settled their recent squabble over copyright infringement.

THEWILL recalls that Rema had earlier called out DJ Neptune after the latter put out ‘For You’, their collaboration, without his consent.

According to Rema, he was neither paid nor told about the track’s impending release.

The ‘Bounce’ crooner had also stated that the song be taken down.

“With all due respect chief! Dropped my old record without due process? I’m not happy at all,” Rema had said.

However, DJ Neptune stated that he followed due process and uploaded screenshots showing his chats as well as an email where an agreement was sent in response.

“Rema’s record was obtained and the right steps were taken. I did give the instruction to my legal representative to forward a collaboration agreement to Rema’s manager and team, as earlier specified,” DJ Neptune had replied.

However, on Friday, the pair took to their individual Instagram stories to share a photo of themselves together.

“Edo boys, we stay wise…we gonna keep winning for life,” DJ Neptune wrote via his Instagram Story.

On his part, Rema simply wrote: “Greatness @deejayneptune” with a love emoji suggesting that they have settled their differences.
