October 02, (THEWILL) – ASKY, the Pan-African Airline, is proud to announce a significant milestone in its journey with the arrival of the Boeing 737-8MAX, registered ET-BAT.

This new aircraft will replace the Boeing 737-700NG registered ET-ANG, the very first aircraft in ASKY’s fleet, which has played a pivotal role in our mission to connect Africa since January 2010 with approximately Nineteen thousand two hundred eighty-six (19,286) flights during Twenty-six thousand seven hundred forty-seven (26,747) hours.

ET-ANG symbolised the beginning of a bold and ambitious adventure – the creation of a Pan-African airline dedicated to regional integration and air connectivity. Over the past 14 years, this aircraft has carried millions of passengers across the African skies, helping establish ASKY’s reputation for reliability and safety.

“Today, the arrival of ET-BAT marks our ongoing commitment to fleet modernisation and service enhancement. With 189 all-economy seats, this state-of-the-art aircraft offers significant improvements in fuel efficiency and passenger comfort, enabling ASKY to better meet the growing demands of our customers.

“The replacement of ET-ANG with ET-BAT marks a new chapter in our strategy for sustainable development and operational excellence. This fleet renewal reflects our continued dedication to offering safe, modern, and reliable air services to our passengers. We extend our heartfelt thanks to ET-ANG for its exceptional years of service and warmly welcome ET-BAT, which will help shape the future of Pan-African air travel.”
