August 03, (THEWILL) – Real Madrid wrapped up their pre-season preparations with a challenging match against Juventus in Orlando.
The game saw some significant changes in the starting lineup, with Carlo Ancelotti opting for a formation he appears to be experimenting. It did not have the effect he may have expected, as Los Blancos conceded two early goals. For the rest of the game, the Spanish giants showed their resilience in attempts to mount a comeback before ultimately falling 3-1 to Juventus.
The disappointing effect of those two goals within the opening minutes was noticeable, but after the hydration break, Ancelotti’s charges turned the tables and displayed a flurry of attacking opportunities.

In the second half, Real Madrid continued to apply pressure, while Juventus aimed to assert their physicality. The match also saw Ancelotti introducing some fresh legs, but despite creating numerous threatening sequences, they could not find the decisive touch to level the score. Dusan Vlahovic’s stoppage-time goal sealed the 3-1 victory for Juventus.
