December 10, (THEWILL) – American rapper, Tauheed Epps, known professionally as 2 Chainz, was rushed to a hospital early Saturday morning after he was hit by a car in Miami.
2 Chainz, while exiting Interstate 95 (I-95), a major highway in the United States that runs along the East Coast, connecting Miami, Florida, in the south to Houlton, Maine, the rapper’s vehicle was struck by another car. Authorities suspect the other driver may have been under the influence.
It appears 2 Chainz was struck from behind because the extensive damage was on the front left driver’s side of the car and indicated a forceful collision.
The rapper shared a video on his Instagram story of himself on a stroller entering into an ambulance on his way to the hospital.
He suffered neck injuries and possibly other injuries as well, but he is in stable condition in the hospital.
He left a strip club called Booby Trap, in Miami, shortly before the crash. He was in Miami for Art Basel.
