September 04, (THEWILL) – Rafinha has been released by Paris Saint-Germain, so that he can sign with Al Arabi SC of Qatar.
Prior to joining Real Sociedad on loan in December, the 29-year-old had lost favour at the Parc des Princes, appearing just five times in all competitions the previous season. But, Rafinha played more frequently for La Real, making 17 La Liga appearances and contributing one goal to Sociedad’s sixth-place finish.
On his return to the French capital city, however, the two-cap Brazil international fell further down the midfield pecking order, as Christophe Galtier preferred to go with Renato Sanches, Vitinha, Carlos Soler, and Fabian Ruiz.

Rafinha left the Ligue 1 winners after two years and has now joined Al Arabi in Doha, on a two-year deal in the hopes to be considered for the World Cup later this year, which will be held in Qatar.
With four victories and one loss through their first five games, Al Arabi are in first place in the Qatar Stars League.
