QROGA Gets New Executive Committee

August 27, (THEWILL) – Queen of the Rosary Secondary School old Girls Association (QROGA), Gboko, in Benue State, has elected national officials to pilot its affairs for the next four years, with Pharmacist Monica Hemben Eimunjeze, as president.

Declaring the results of the election, which was held at Divine Mercy Academy, Abuja, the chairman of the Electoral Committee, Queenite Alu Dim, commended delegates for their orderliness and understanding that saw to the emergence of all the elective positions unopposed.

She expressed optimism that with the unity displayed, the association would be better for it and congratulated all the winners.

Administering the oath of office to the new exco, Barr. Dr Carloine Hembafan Ashar Ekpendu, charged them to work in line with the association’s constitution for peace to reign.

In her acceptance speech, the president, Pharm. Hemben Eimunjeze, commended the immediate past executive of the association, promising to build on the foundation laid to forge ahead.

She pledged the resolve of her leadership to ensure respect to member’s divergent opinions to further the ideals of the association.

Pharmacist Eimunjeze, who called for support to enable the new exco to deliver on its mandate, also promised to ensure that members and the school are uplifted to greater height.

Others elected are Q’nite Jennifer Igoh as Vice president; Q’nite Maureen Rumun Kajo as Secretary; Q’nite Dooyum Mchiaga-Tsavsar as Assistant Secretary; Q’nite Fidelia Fateman Waya as Treasurer and Q’nite Rebecca Anyebe as Financial Secretary.

Also elected are Q’nite Iveren Abel-Ugbir as Public Relations Officer; Q’nite Dorathy Igbudu as Auditor; Q’nite Rosemary Malu as Welfare Secretary; Q’nite Florence Ogbeche as Social Secretary; Q’nite Ruth Mandeun is the Legal Adviser; while the position of Provost was won by Q’nite Grace Babalola with that of Ex-Officio for Chief Mrs Judith Hirnyam respectively.
