January 30, (HEWILL) – Paris Saint-Germain7 are making a late push to sign Hakim Ziyech, from Chelsea before the transfer deadline on Tuesday.
Les Parisiens are reportedly confident of agreeing to a loan deal for Ziyech. The Moroccan has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this month and has recently drawn interest from Newcastle United and Everton, but it now appears he could be leaving England altogether.
Ziyech signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2020 from Ajax and helped the team win the UEFA Champions League in his first season. Italian champions Milan have also been touted as a contender for Ziyech’s signature, but it is more likely that he will head to the French capital.
Chelsea have several players who could leave the club before the end of the transfer window, including Conor Gallagher and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
