Early goals from Ousmane Dembele and Fabian Ruiz propelled the capital club to a record-extending 15th Coupe de France triumph, their seventh in eight finals.
Both sides entered the contest buoyed by successful campaigns, with PSG having clinched the Ligue 1 title in April and Lyon remarkably sealing a UEFA Europa League berth. The match commenced at a frenetic pace, with chances for Lucas Beraldo, Bradley Barcola, and Said Benrahma before Dembele headed home Nuno Mendes’ cross in the 22nd minute.
