August 18, (THEWILL) – The Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting is underway at the Conference room of the First Lady’s office.
The meeting, presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, was preceded by his speech on the Petroleum Industry Act (PIB), he assented to on Monday.
The virtual meeting is physically being attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; National Security Adviser (NSA), Major-General Babagana Monguno (rtd); and Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari; and some ministers.
Buhari today concluded his five days of mandatory isolation amid the COVID-19 scare after returning from the UK on Friday, August 13, 2021.
