The 24-year-old defender has been accused of the offense, with a report having been filed against him on February 26. The incident is believed to have taken place at his home in the Boulogne area of Paris the day before.
Following the report, prosecutors have opened an investigation into the matter. The alleged victim had been at a police station to give her statement, which led to the initiation of the inquiry.
Hakimi has been absent from PSG’s last two Ligue 1 fixtures due to a hamstring injury. However, with this recent development, it remains to be seen whether the player will face any further disciplinary actions from the club or the league.
