November 24, (THEWILL) – Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, was invited for questioning on Wednesday, November 23 by men of the Police AIG zone 17 in Akure, Ondo State, following a petition filed against her by her pastor, Adegoke Jeremiah, the founder of Spirit World Global Mission.
DSP Hakeem, the Spokesperson for AIG Zone 17, confirmed that the police received a petition against Chef Dammy and she was invited by the police.
He said Dammy honoured the invitation on Thursday afternoon, November 23 and was thereafter granted administrative bail after providing a surety.
“She is not in our custody. She was not detained,” he said.
Chef Dammy, who attempted to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking hours by an individual in June, backed by her pastor and church members, later accused her pastor of being a threat to her life, claiming that if anything happened to her, he should be held responsible.
The clergyman then filed a lawsuit against her, demanding that she retract the threat to life allegation.
