BEVERLY HILLS, CA, October 09, (THEWILL) – The Plateau State Government Wednesday said Chief Solomon Lar, 80, a former Governor of the State and pioneer National Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, died in the United States of America today, after a protracted ailment.
James Mannok, the Chief Press Secretary to State Governor, Mr. Jonah David Jang told reporters that the Governor was informed of Chief Lar’s demise earlier today.
He told reporters to await a formal statement from his office.
THEWILL had previously reported that the former Governor was on a life support machine.
