June 30, (THEWILL) – AC Milan are actively engaged in their efforts to secure the services of Samuel Chukwueze for the right wing position.
While the club is finalising the signing of Ruben Loftus-Cheek for the midfield role, Milan’s management is simultaneously exploring alternative options to strengthen the team. They have identified Chukwueze, currently with Villarreal, as the ideal candidate, a sentiment shared by the club’s scouting department.
On Thursday, AC Milan’s head coach, Stefano Pioli, personally spoke with the Nigerian international in yet another display of the club’s determination to bring him to Italy. This direct phone conversation signifies the extent to which Milan are keen on a move for Chukwueze.
In addition to Chukwueze, Milan are considering other potential candidates for the right wing position. Adama Traoré, set to become a free agent after his contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers expires, remains on Milan’s radar. Another name being discussed is Christian Pulisic, who is also under consideration for the role with the possibility of a move from Chelsea very tenable.
