PHED Reduces Electricity Tariff For Band A Customers

May 6, (THEWILL) – The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) has announced a downward review of electricity tariff for Band A customers within its franchise area from N225/kWh to N206.80/kWh.

The company disclosed this in a message to its customers on Monday. It also assured customers on its Band A feeders of the continued availability of 20-24hrs supply daily.

“Please be informed that there is a downward tariff review for our Band A Feeders from 225N/Kwh to 206.80N/Kwh effective 6th May 2024.

“The guaranteed availability of a minimum of 20 hrs per day still stands,” the company said.

The PHED further stated that the tariff for Bands B, C, D, and E remains unchanged.
