Pavard’s Transfer To Inter Milan Back On Track After Bayern Approval

August 29, (THEWILL) – The proposed transfer of French defender, Benjamin Pavard, from Bayern Munich to Inter Milan appears to be back on track after Italian media reported on Tuesday, that Bayern have finally consented to the deal.

The 27-year-old is reportedly due to arrive in Milan on Tuesday, and the transfer will likely be finalised on Wednesday. Inter are expected to pay €30 million for Pavard, a fee that could rise to €32 million. Reports monitored by THEWILL indicate Inter had given Bayern an ultimatum, which expired Tuesday afternoon to accept or decline their offer.

Pavard, whose Bayern contract expires in June 2024, has spent seven years in Germany with Stuttgart and Bayern, winning four Bundesliga titles and the Champions League in 2020 with the Bavarian club.

Inter, who finished third in Serie A last term and were Champions League runners-up, have won their first two league matches this campaign and currently sit third in the early table of the Italian top division.
