November 30, (THEWILL) – Nomthi Odukoya, the late wife of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, founder of Fountain of Life Bible Church, has been buried amidst tears in Lagos State.
The 47-year-old South African died in the United Kingdom about two weeks ago after battling cancer.
Before she was laid to rest, the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, alongside other ministers of the gospel and dignitaries on Monday night, attended her night of tributes at the headquarters of Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos.
Popular gospel musician, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey ministered at the night of tributes.
Late Pastor Nomthi got married to Pastor Taiwo Odukoya on the 5th of January 2010 five years after he lost his first wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya in the Sosoliso plane crash of 2005.
While his marriage to Bimbo produced three children, his marriage to Nomthi produced two sons.
