PAP: Ex-Agitator Leaders Forum Sues For Calm, Assures Of Prompt Payment Of Stipends

September 7, (THEWILL) – The National Spokesman, Phase 2, ex-agitators leaders forum, Gen Wanemi Olotu, Gen Elaye Slaboh, have urged members to be patient and support the Interim Administrator, to perfect his good plans.

This was contained in a press statement, jointly signed by Gen Wanemi Olotu and Elaye Slaboh, where the leadership of the Niger Delta ex-agitators have passionately appealed to its members to be calm as efforts are being made to pay them their monthly stipends.

According to the statement, “The attention of the second & third Phase of the Ex Agitators Leadership forum (Beneficiaries) of Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), has been drawn to a Publication made by one Mr Eshanakpe Israel, a.k.a Akpodoro, ranging from Leadership of the (PAP), Payments of beneficiaries stipends, arrears, allowances and emoluments owed by both the previous and current administration which the present Administrator is addressing.

“Mr Ibena Rufus Salvation, National Spokesman, phase 2 Ex Agitators leaders forum, Mr Wanemi Olotu, the national chairman phase 2, and Elaye Slaboh, the national secretary General third phase Ex-Agitators Leaders Forum have showed concerned and have taken it upon themselves to intervene on the matter, hence they held a crucial meeting immediately with the Interim administrator Major General Tariye Barry Ndiomu ( rtd) who is a listening and kind hearted man.”

Adding that the National Spokesman, phase 2, Ex-Agitators Leaders Forum Ibena Rufus Salvation, who asked the Interim Administrator some sensitive questions bordering and affecting the Leaders and beneficiaries particularly stipends payment, arrears, allowances and emoluments owed by both past administrators and the current administrator.

“The Interim administrator has given an elaborate explanation with evidence on how arrangements have already been made to pay every genuine beneficiaries of the Programme, according to the delegation, they were convinced and were very impressed with the outcome of the fruitful meeting.

They, therefore, advised every beneficiary to be patient while the Presidential Amnesty office makes arrangements to pay everyone by end of September.”
