April 12, (THEWILL) – Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo will on Wednesday, hosts members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus in the House of Representatives to dinner.
Osinbajo invited the APC lawmakers to the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa for the breaking of Ramadan fast (Iftar) on Wednesday.
The Deputy Speaker of the House, Ahmed Wase, read the Vice-President’s invitation letter to the caucus at the opening of the plenary on Tuesday.
“In the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, it will be my great pleasure to host you and all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus in the federal house of representatives to the Iftar/Easter dinner on Wednesday, April 13, 2022”, the letter read by Idris Wase, said.
The Vice-president will on Tuesday evening, meet with the APC senate caucus at his Aguda House.
The invitations came less than 48 hours after he hosted APC governors to Iftar on Sunday night to seek their support for his presidential ambition.
The Vice-President had in the early hours of Monday declared his interest to run for President in the 2023 general elections.
