June 22, (THEWILL) – The family of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, who died due to alleged domestic violence, has announced plans to bury her on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
Her burial rites began on Tuesday, with praise night at Michael Opara Square in Enugu.
A prayer night will be held in memory of the singer on June 24, at the Amakpoko Umauka Central School Isochi Umunochi, Abia State.
While the lying in state is slated for June 25.
According to BBC Igbo, some of her family members said they plan to return her bride price to her widower, Mr Peter Nwachukwu.
Osinachi, who died on April 8, 2022, would be buried in her father’s compound in Isuochi, Abia State.
