Oshoala, Ajibade, Ebi, Others Included To Camp Ahead Of AWCON

May 17, (THEWILL) -Coach of the senior women’s national football team Randy Waldrum has invited Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, Onome Ebi, and a slew of other Super Falcons players to make up the squad in Morocco for a training camp.

As part of the players invited to the camp, Waldrum also invited three local players, all from Edo Queens. Ashleigh Plumptre, Francesca Ordega, and Chiamaka Nnadozie were also among those invited to the team.

The camp in Morocco will last two weeks and begin on June 18, with the event taking place from July 2 to 23.

The Super Falcons will compete in the African Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) alongside South Africa, Botswana and Burundi as qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup.
