Most Nigerians now accept as a fact that General Muhammadu Buhari (GMB) is a sick man. Except of course his un-informed die hard supporters. Even they must now have their doubts about his health. I am convinced that Messrs. Gumel. Ojutalayo, Kassim, Osuji, Opara, Ogbonnia, etc. now wonder if they had made wise decisions in promoting. GMB’s gait, looks, and even his two seconds speeches do not flow like a leader of Nigerian should. GMB may be an honest man, but is he equal to the job that his supporters are placing on his fragile frame? Are they doing Nigeria any favors or are they punishing an old man? The Bible says that God will not give a man a load he cannot carry? Is man giving another man a load he cannot carry? Remember Yar’ Adua? Patriotic Nigerians should know when harm is about to be done to the country and retrace their steps.
The rumor that the South is poisoning GMB should be dismissed out right on two grounds. There is nothing like the South. Although there was once a united North, there was never a South. Even the once united North no longer exists. And a collective South coming together to do something?

GMB has seen the best doctors and any such shenanigans could have been detected and traced to its source. Those of us over sixty know that things don’t work like it used to be.
The North ought to vote in large numbers for GEJ for a better reason. If GEJ wins this election there would be no reason for a southern presidency in 2019. The only people who would still advocate for a southern presidency would be only those knuckle heads such as Obiajulu Aduba who believe in meritocracy. Those who oppose a rotational office holders. We would support anybody who appears as a credible candidate. From North or South and places in between. If a GEJ’s son/daughter shows up and is credible we will vote for him/her.
If GMB fails to make it, there will be a strong case for Osibanjo to be the next APC candidate or somebody who looks just like him. SW would not concede the nomination to another “Northerner.” Of course PDP would according to its constitution devolve to North. Unless GEJ performs extraordinarily well the “PDP fatigue” would set in making the SW APC candidate very attractive. If GMB wins and is too fatigued to carry on then Osibanjo would complete his term and seek first and second terms of his own. A Yar’ Adua redo.
My brothers from the North, arise and vote for GEJ. You have nothing to lose but your chains!
