May 13, (THEWILL) – Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has reportedly moved out of his multi-million naira Banana Island mansion and put the property up for rent.

This was made known by a Lagos State real estate agent.

“Searching for a luxurious 5-bedroom detached house in the serene and exclusive Banana Island area of Lagos? Look no further than this stunning property now available for rent.

“This impressive home boasts a range of top-of-the-line features, including a gym, a sparkling swimming pool, a fully fitted kitchen with all the latest appliances and amenities and expansive living areas perfect for entertaining guests.

“Do not miss out on this incredible opportunity to live in a truly remarkable home in one of Lagos’ most sought-after neighbourhoods. Call us to arrange a viewing and see for yourself what makes this property so special,” the estate agent, Kofoworola Adewumi wrote on her social media page.

Reacting to her post, many of the singer’s fans stormed the agent’s comment section to accuse her of chasing clout with Davido’s mansion.

Responding to the accusations, Adewumi wrote: “You all need to stop making all these unsolicited comments under my post. Davido once lived on the property. Yes! However, he has moved out and the property is now back on the market for rent. If you all were so concerned and intimate with Davido to the point of knowing his residence, you should also be aware that he has moved out.”

The singer was reportedly renting the house for $150,000 per annum.

This is coming barely seven months after the singer lost his son to a drowning incident in the said house in October 2022.

Perhaps to blur the unpleasant memory necessitated his moving out of the house.
