March 10, (THEWILL) – Suspended chairman of the Lagos State chapter of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has announced the withdrawal of members of the state’s council including himself, from the national body.

This is coming a few hours after the national body announced Oluomo’s suspension in a letter dated March 9, 2022, accusing him of insubordination, misconduct and incitement of violence.

In a swift response to the suspension on Thursday, Oluomo in an announcement after a meeting at the state secretariat, Agege, admitted that “there has been some crisis in our umbrella body, NURTW”, adding that all attempts to have an amicable resolution have failed.
