May 27, (THEWILL) – The incumbent Executive Chairman of Ohaukwu Local Government Area, Hon. Barrister Clement Omenkannaya Odah, has emerged the winner of the house of representatives primary for Ohaukwu/Ebonyi federal constituency.
Odah, who emerged winner to beat his rival, Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze, pulled a total votes of 139, to fly the flag of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to represent Ohaukwu/Ebonyi federal constituency, come 2023 general election.
Announcing the result of the election, the returning officer, Christopher Okey, who led an authentic electoral panel from National APC Secretariat, Abuja, disclosed that the Number of delegates in Ohaukwu is 75, number of delegates in Ebonyi is 65.
He further disclosed that the number of delegates for the primary is 140, while those accredited were 139.
According to him, Odah Clement pulled a total of 134 votes to beat his rival, Eze Nwachukwu Eze, who scored 3 Votes. He added that two votes were valid, while one of the delegates was absent.
Addressing the delegates after the primary election, Barrister Clement Omenkannaya Odah, who appreciated them for turning out en masse, expressed satisfaction with the process.
