February 16, (THEWILL) – The Executive Chairman of Ohaukwu Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, Hon. Prince Ikechukwu Odono, has expressed sympathy with Mrs Bridget Ekunyi, whose yarm barn was gutted by fire.
During a visit to the victim’s residence at Ndi-Igube, Okposhi Ngbo, Hon. Prince Odono, who was appreciative to God for sparing the life of Mrs Bridget, gifted her some food items to cushion the effects of the unfortunate incident.
Prince Ikechuckwu Odono said, “Be thankful to God for life and be aware that Ohaukwu Local Government under my watch is championing zero hunger, as contained in the People’s Charter of Needs as initiated by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
“I promise to supply you with yam seedlings for the new farming season and with these bags of rice, garri, tubers of yam and this envelope cushion the effect of the fire burning”, he said.
The Chairman was accompanied to the visit by the Coordinator of Ngbo Central, Hon. Blessing Adagba, Councillor Okposhi Ward 1, Hon. Henry Adagba, Chief Ebere Okafor, Prince Ikechuckwu Ozogbu, Comr. Emmanuel Adagba, Chief Ifemelunma, Comr. Okechukwu and others.
