August 06, (THEWILL) – The Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission has scheduled November 16, 2024, for the conduct of local government elections in the State.
Chairman of the Commission, Babatunde Osibodu, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
Consequently, the statement informed that “Thursday, August 8, 2024, is scheduled for the release of guidelines for the conduct of the elections and stakeholders meeting while campaigns by the political parties begin on Friday, August 9.
“The political parties are also scheduled to hold their party primaries between Monday, August 26 to Monday, September 9, 2024.”
