March 16,(THEWILL)- Paris FC continued their impressive run in the Division 1 Féminine with a resounding 4-0 victory over Guingamp on Saturday, as Chiamaka Nnadozie made three big saves including stopping a penalty kick to ensure the win.
After Nnadozie kept out Aissata Traore’s penalty, Daphne Corboz broke the deadlock in the 28th minute. Gaëtane Thiney further extended their advantage with a brace, scoring from the penalty spot in the 31st minute and adding another goal just two minutes later.
Despite Guingamp’s efforts to mount a comeback in the second half, Paris FC’s defence remained resolute, denying their opponents any clear scoring opportunities. The visitors continued to control the game’s tempo, and their persistence was rewarded in the 54th minute when Kessya Bussy found the back of the net, making the score 4-0.
Guingamp’s struggles were compounded by Traoré’s missed penalty, leaving them unable to capitalise on a potential momentum shift. Paris FC’s dominance was further reinforced by their possession and passing skills, highlighting their superior performance on the day.
With this emphatic victory, Paris FC solidify their position near the top of the Division 1 Féminine table, while Guingamp will need to regroup and bounce back from this disappointing result.
