February 25, (THEWILL) – Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has won the first polling unit to be declared in the Aso Rock, Abuja vicinity.
At PU 131, which is one of the several units around the premises, he polled 17 votes to beat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who got six votes, and their counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, who garnered three votes.
Also in Lagos State, Obi won one of the polling units close to where the APC candidate, Bola Tinubu voted in Saturday’s polls.
Obi scored nine votes in polling unit 052, Ward 3, Alausa, Ikeja, while Tinubu came second with eight votes and PDP Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, scored two votes.
A total of 62 voters registered at the unit but only 19 were accredited and voted.
Meanwhile, the former Anambra Governor has won at Polling Unit O55, Keke Abimbola, Ago, Lagos.
Obi polled 122 votes, while the APC’s Tinubu, garnered nine votes, and the PDP got zero votes in the polling unit.
