BEVERLY HILLS, April 14, (THEWILL) – Nineteen new confirmed cases of the coronavirus have occurred in Nigeria with Lagos, the epicenter reporting 14, to bring the total number of people infected by the pandemic to 362 nationwide. The FCT reported 2, Kano 1 and Akwa Ibom 1, while Edo State also reported a single case Tuesday.
According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, 99 persons previously infected have recovered and discharged, while 11 deaths have so far been recorded nationwide. A new fatality was recorded in Lagos Tuesday.
