Nigeria Posts 86 New Cases Of COVID-19, Its Largest Single-Day Number, Lagos Too With 70

BEVERLY HILLS, April 19, (THEWILL) – Nigeria has recorded 86 new cases of the coronavirus, the biggest single day increase on record with Lagos State, the epicenter of the disease in Nigeria, also posting its highest one-day record — 70 new cases. The total tally countrywide now stands at 627 with 170 recoveries and 21 deaths.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Sunday said the FCT recorded 7 new cases, Katsina 3, Akwa Ibom 3, Jigawa 1, Bauchi 1 and Borno 1.
