Update: Nigeria Adds 389 New Cases Of COVID-19 As Kogi Records First Case

BEVERLY HILLS, May 27, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Wednesday added 389 new cases of the coronavirus with Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, recording 256 of the cases to bring the total in the country to 8, 733.

Also, Kogi recorded its first case, adding two Wednesday, according to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC.

THEWILL notes that Wednesday’s data marks a significant increase in the number of daily cases in the last seven days.

There are now 2501 recoveries and 254 deaths (5 added today) recorded nationwide, the NCDC said.
