SAN FRANCISCO, May 19, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Tuesday added 226 new confirmed cases of the COVID-19 bringing the total number of cases in the country to 6401. Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in the country, returned 131 of the new cases with Ogun added 25, Plateau 15 and Edo 11. (See further details below).
According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, one new death occurred to bring the tally to 192, while 1734 persons have so far recovered from the disease.
