September 29, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session lower, with market capitalisation declining by ₦469 billion from ₦163.999 trillion at the open to ₦163.530 trillion at the close.
The All-Share Index (ASI) also fell by 721.91 points, opening at 252,635.11 and closing at 251,913.20, representing a 0.29 percent decline.
Market breadth was negative, with 27 gainers against 32 decliners, reflecting broader selling pressure across the session.
On Gainers’ Chart
- NPFMCRFBK surged 10.00 percent (₦4.00 to ₦4.40).
- LIVINGTRUST surged 10.00 percent (₦2.60 to ₦2.86).
- WAPIC rallied 9.95 percent (₦2.21 to ₦2.43).
- VFDGROUP jumped 9.84 percent (₦12.20 to ₦13.40).
