Ndombele, Sanchez Set For Tottenham Exit As Galatasaray Talks Progress

September 4, (THEWILL) – Tottenham Hotspur are in discussions with Turkish giants, Galatasaray, over potential deals for midfielder, Tanguy Ndombele and defender, Davinson Sanchez.

While the major European transfer windows closed last week, the Turkish window remains open until 15 September, allowing Spurs and Galatasaray to continue transfer activity. Galatasaray have reached out regarding deals for the fringe Spurs duo and there is optimism agreements can be struck before the Turkish deadline.

For 26-year-old Frenchman Ndombele, talks centre on an initial loan with the option for Galatasaray to make the deal permanent. The midfielder has not been named in a Tottenham matchday squad this season after returning from a loan spell at Napoli. Moving to Turkey could provide him with the fresh start his career needs.

As for Colombian, Sanchez, sources monitored by THEWILL say Spurs could sanction a £7 million permanent transfer. Despite featuring recently under new manager, Ange Postecoglou, the arrival of 18-year-old centre back, Ashley Phillips, has pushed Sanchez down the depth chart.

Galatasaray are eager to wrap up business rapidly with the registration deadline for their UEFA Champions League squad occurring at midnight on Monday. The Turkish side have been drawn against Manchester United, Bayern Munich and FC Copenhagen.
