January 13, (THEWILL) – The National Assembly has rescheduled the resumption of plenary, earlier fixed for January 23, to January 30, 2024.
The National Assembly adjourned plenary on December 30, 2023, after the passage of the N28.7 trillion budget for the 2024 financial year.
A statement, on Saturday, by Clerk of the House of Representatives, Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, regrets all inconveniences the postponement may cause.
“I am directed to inform Hon Members that the resumption date for both the Senate and House of Representatives has been shifted from Tuesday, 23rd January 2024 (as earlier announced) to Tuesday, 30th January 2024, at 11:00 am prompt. All inconveniences are regretted,” he said.
