December 13, (THEWILL) – Skit maker, Lawal Michael Bolaji, professionally known as Nasboi, has revealed an encounter he had with veteran actor, Hanks Anuku, in Asaba, Delta State.
He took to social media to post a video of his encounter and conversation with the actor. He raised an alarm about the state the actor was in.
A few weeks ago, a disturbing video of the 62-year-old actor surfaced online.
In the video, the actor looks unkept as he was gesticulating and smiling all alone in rags as he walks on the street.
The video of Anuku sparked controversy among his colleagues. Some claim he is mentally sound while others admitted that the actor wasn’t feeling okay.
However, after Nasboi’s encounter with the actor, he revealed that Anuku is indeed mentally challenged as he was spotted roaming the street helplessly.
He doled out cash and also exchanged contact with him after a brief conversation together.
He later took to social media to lament about the actor’s mental state
“Yo that’s Hanks Anuku. Why are people saying this man is ok? Why????
“Man is roaming the streets of Asaba looking so helpless. I got his number. l will do my bit. That man made my childhood. Ogbadenagbawan”, he wrote.
