Nasarawa United Coaching Crew Given Three-Match Ultimatum To Improve

March 16, (THEWILL) – Nasarawa United’s management has given the technical staff of the Nigeria Professional Football League side, a three-match deadline to turn around the club’s fortunes or face being fired.

The management agreed at the end of a vital meeting organised by the club’s chairman, Barrister Isaac Danladi, that the technical staff must ensure that the team picks up at least seven points from the three matches or suffer sanctions.

The meeting also expressed displeasure, with what it described as a lack of togetherness among the players, as some of them are accused of committing conduct that could bring the team and sport to dishonour.

A press statement on Tuesday by the club’s Media Officer, Mr Amos Eche, revealed that a member of the technical crew was undermining the unity of the coaching staff.

As a result, the club’s administration formed a three-man committee, chaired by Idris Rilwan, the chairman of the club’s Technical and Disciplinary Committee, to investigate the claims levelled against the coach involved.

It was also determined that the names of players who are no longer required, should be forwarded to the technical and disciplinary committee for further action.

Meanwhile, the three-match deadline will begin with the next away game on Sunday, March 20 against 3SC. The other two games are the reverse ties against 3SC and Heartland FC.
